About Me

My name is Brett Hunt and I created this blog to post about varied and disparate interests. As of writing this About Me page, I’ve yet to actually write entries about any of the things that encouraged me to actually start a blog. Eventually, I hope to cover those topics in addition to linking to the Yelp reviews, recipes, or other articles of interest.

I celebrate 26 years of marriage to my beautiful wife Sandra this August and we have 3 amazing and wildly different children (Caleb (15), Mara (14) and Joshua (11)). In addition to being a husband and father, I’m a Christian, technology freak, Seinfeld fan, movie quote machine, occasional gamer, 80’s music aficionado, Lego collector, and Clemson football fan.

I’ve been working in various areas of technology for the last 25 years. I started out as a PC Technician repairing computers at PC Corner in Greenville, SC. While PC Corner didn’t last and most of the computers we built have long-since been replaced, I also built several life-long friendships. I worked in telecom at Windstream for 12 years starting as the manager of dial-up support and later building a Security Operations Center. Today, I work for Fortinet and am blessed to continue serving and meeting people from Windstream supporting our service provider channel.
